Yep...and from a very early age.
When I was a kid we used to do just that, playing cowboys and Injuns.
My children do it too.
I used to go to a school with a lad who insisted in everyone calling him Joe (even though it wasn't his name) and he spoke with a fake American accent constantly and I mean all the time!
He used to wear a grey overcoat and a 1920's style ganster hat.
