God knows theres good indie bands, but I think in general, there are even more bad indie bands than mainstream bands, Bright Eyes makes any Nickelback clone sound promising by comparison. lawl you are retarded and don't really know anything. You have a warped internet message board forum idea of what "indie" kids are like. It really baffles me how you could even type that out with a straight face. Indie music stands for independant. Bands that, for the most part, do **** on their own. Every label wants to make money but that is not their chief goal. It's apparent in the bands they sign. I don't think they're looking at those bands and go, oh man they're gonna make me a ton of money and blow up and be hella popular! Cos it doesn't happen that way.
You seem to have a distorted view of "indie" music. It's not a sound. It's not death cab for cutie. get ****ed.
