Someone asks me if I think RHCP is a great band I'll say yes.
Someone asks me if I think they're overrated, I'll say yes.
Someone asks me why, I'll say because they're reciving too much positive feedback/attention for By The Way and Stadium Arcadium and those are two of their worse albums (in my opinion).
For swim:
they're slowly becoming overrated refers to RHCP the band not their albums, which is my reasoning behind viewing them as overrated amongst other things.
