Antioch Arrow, Jimmy Eat World, Heroin, Thrice, Sparta, Hawthorne Heights, Amber Pacific definitely belong on this list.
Matchbook Romance is questionable I suppose.
Alkaline Trio and Taking Back Sunday might be borderline. And XIu XIu just seemed to fit.
Now you only count three bands that should be on this list, so I wanna know what your grades in math are and what you think is EMO/Hardcore
