One thing that pisses me off are the legions of closed minded indie kids who are quick to bash big labels and call any band under a big label crap... It's true that big labels are often motivated by greed, but they still promote some of the best artists around, given they will hire some really lame bands and martket the hell out of them, but it's still stupid to make a big deal out of big labels and call any band that signs under them sellouts, it's not selling out, some people just want their music to actually be heard, yeah a good paycheck dosen't hurt... With indie labels, people glorify them for sticking up for the people, or the underdog... That may be true in many cases, but a lot of indie labels are small simply because of poor financing and business practices, and many of them will sign any crappy talentless band out of sheer desperation.
