First of all, I think you're right, I remember when two stoners won the national jazz competition in high school while ****ed up on whiskey and Russian Red. I think we even trained a a monkey to win a jazz competition...nationally. I mean, who even goes to those things?

Secondly, shmuck, I could teach you a latin beat in about 10 seconds (or at least we taught the money that quickly) but then you seem to be skewing the argument. You couldn't teach someone the greatest rock drummers parts quicker than the greatest jazz drummers.

I could teach you to write the intersoliloquey patter of Shakespeare but that doesn't mean you write like him. Meg White plays rock, but so does Danny Carrey who I happen to think is the most mind blowing drummer I've ever seen live.
