good point, i was once told by a fellow musician of mine that its not about how well you play but how well you support the song. If keeping it simple is the best way to make the song sound as good as it could possibly be then so be it, keep it simple!!!
as for the music genre that bothers me the most, i think im going to have to add a new one to the list of options. That would be the H.I.M. genre. I mean, who could ask for a falser group of people? I'm not even sure if the H.I.M. fans themselves like the music of H.I.M. all i see when i look at H.I.M. fans is a group of black wearers with pink shoes who run around dripping eye-liner down their face and marveling at the image of ville valo, or however you spell his name. It's really pathetic that these people dont think for themselves anymore and just let the craze think for them. I actually met a girl one time with a heartagram tattooed on the back of her neck!!! now that's pathetic.
