For those who don't know, Fernwood 2 Night was a short-lived fictional talk show created by Norman Lear in 1977 as a summer replacement for Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, set in the fictional town of Fernwood, Ohio. The "hosts" are Barth Gimble (Martin Mull) and Jerry Hubbard (Fred Willard). They had a variety of guests on the show and it became so popular, they revamped it for a second season in 1978 as America 2 Night. Nick at Nite and TVLand aired re-runs of the show, but as far as I know, it's never hit streaming services.

This clip is a gem.

I never watched Fernwood/America 2 Night but I remember seeing Martin Mull on Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. Few people know that Mull was a musician before he hit into acting full time. He and his band were solid musically. They did a lot of funny tunes.
