Default Do any of you like The Purple Gang from the UK?

Wikipedia associates them with "psychaedelic" music, but overall they
were strongly just blues, classic rock, and ragtime. I personally love
this music, at least "Strike". The recording and instrumentation is so
crisp. Unfortunately, it seems their album "Night of The Uncool" has
been lost. Any leads would be appreciated. Someone needs to put it
on youtube. If you like The Beatles, you will definetly like Strike. They use
some fairly uncommon instruments like the guira and the kazoo.

I just felt this was worth posting about, as nobody really seems to care
about this band. There was both an actual streetgang of the same name, and
an american band. The american band was pretty good as well, but un-original
handles are certainly a great way to ruin your popularity in the long run. The
american "the purple gang" was indeed psychaedelic, and what i've heard of their
music is decent too (it's pretty doors-ish).

EDIT: "Madam Judge" sounds pretty psychedelic, but the rest of the UK bands songs
sound pretty bluesy.
