I'm going on 20+ year memory here but the discussion was basically how religion and rock were separate parts of their lives. Scott Ian recalled playing stadiums in Germany where Hitler spoke. It was a very informative show.
Religion and music can easily coexist in the world of country music.
Since on topic of religion, my favorite religious rock song is Liar by Queen. The character in the song battles Satan 'the liar', goes to Hell and comes back again, he beat the liar.
Back to country music. I do not like entire genre but I'm a fan of the outlaw singers from the '70's plus a few other random artists. I've seen Willie, Waylon, David Allen Coe, Alan Jackson plus some lesser acts. I always have a good time.
