Default Hi y'all

A new newbie here. Don't know why I wasn't already here in the '80s, but it is how it is...
I have a rather eclectic music taste and I see that most (all?) of them are covered on theses forums, so, if/when I find the time, or make the time for it, you might find me in several of them.

My first real music love was for prog, but I got a bit tired by the new evolutions in the 90s and turned to other kinds of music. Since then I explored classical music (especially 20th century/contemporary), jazz and jazz rock, electronic music (those weird things they did in the 50s and 60s; not that fond of dance or techno thingies, nor the ambient side of it), indie and alternative pop & rock, post-rock, and the more experimental and avant-garde types of music. And I probably forgot something...

Two words about me (knowing that maths is not my strong point): I was born and raised in the Netherlands and got lost in France as cultural refugee.
Hope to have some nice exchanges here about music and maybe other things.
