Hi neighbor, you are right about other great bands from the British Invasion.

I saw The Zombies about 20 years ago and it was pretty mediocre but opening was Denny Laine (Moody Blues, Wings) who kicked ass. I regret missing Eric Burden when has come through town. I have no desire to see Peter Noone and his yearly tours. I did catch The Who and Stones when I was younger.

I did a wiki search for British Invasion Bands. I love these lists because it proves that:

A) Creative revisionist history by person making list
B) I lived in a regional bubble at the mercy of local radio stations

Here is the wiki list...
The Animals
The Beatles
Cilla Black
Chad & Jeremy
The Dave Clark Five
Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich
Petula Clark
The Spencer Davis Group
Donovan

Georgie Fame
Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders
The Fortunes
The Fourmost
Freddie and the Dreamers
Gerry and the Pacemakers
Herman's Hermits
The Hollies[
The Honeycombs
The Hullaballoos

Not all would be on my list of bands.
