Faustina Calavera is a Cumbia and Chicha band from... Wroclaw Poland(?)
They sound good thou! - Despite that not being much decolonial of my part
the original is by Juaneco y su Combo

Cumbia Calavera, on the other hand, is very decolonial. :p
They are a band from Brasil, but has members from Chile, Argentina, Peru and other countries from latam. I had the pleasure to watch 'em play on my town, and they were my introduction to cumbia!
Here's them playing Cariñito in São Paulo:
Sadly they don't seem to have studio version of their songs and seem to solely be a fanfare street band.
In my town they did the show in the square downtown, and they went in the middle of the people with their instruments, a helluva party, lemme tell ya! The end of the show was a big grim reaper gigantone (Processional giant), telling the band that their time has come, and that they should come with them, and then they left while playing a cumbia version of "St. James Infirmary", it was magickal, legit one of the best music shows i've gone to!
I have videos of this performance, maybe I can upload them later.
