In fact, the issue was that our person who lives in a land where they don't do much smiling at all got involved in a discussion with jwb, kept needling him and then decided to PERMA-ban him. Not so bad maybe if he had only temp banned him, but no, permaban.

If jwb was being transphobic why is WWWP defending him? From my many years in this forum, they have always been very ethical and would hold people accountable for dissing the rainbow community (which I am also apart of). Make it make sense.

Jess, you'll get nothing unbiased out of Batty (nor, probably me) as we both have our minds made up. I'd suggest talking to other mods - WWWP seems to know all about it - and see what their position is on it. TBF, neither Batty nor I are mods (perish the thought!) and neither of us have access to the mod cave, so we don't really know how it went down. Frown may have told Bat but that would of course be weighting the story on his side, so to get the full story I imagine speaking to the others. It just seemed like a dick move to me, but then, what do I know?

Okay thank you, I agree that in the case that they were butting heads with jwb they should have let other mods take over.

He admitted he only perma-banned jwb because he could, and none of the other mods stood up against it. Batlord himself created a thread years ago about Frownland being a garbage mod that abused his power.
You’re right that the forum is slow and we don’t need as many mods - so demodding him should be no issue.
