It's always neat to hear EP releases of bands you've never heard before because sometimes between an EP and a full album, the influence revolving around the album can change. In this case however, this is the first time so far that I decided to dive into more of this artist upon finishing my first listen of this EP. The other album I listened to I didn't get through the whole thing yet, though I will say that it started off a lot more post-rock-y than this album did. But what's cool about this EP is that while it did have some post-rock vibes going on, it mixed it in with some electronica and just created a really neat vibe that created an atmosphere upon first listen. I was walking to work in a somewhat cloudy morning and this album fit perfectly with the setting. Nothing too crazy and overdone but just an overall good experience of an album. I dig it.
The album is just 5 delicious tracks of pure instrumentals done in such a way that keeps you wanting more as it progresses while also delivering on its promise. Just a fun album at the end of the day.
