Wow! That is one hell of an age! 126! He must have been going around in a cat wheelchair! I think Eddie was that age too, but he was riddled with cancer.
Time comes when you just have to think of the little guy and let him go. Doesn't make it any easier, but he'll be chasing mice in Kitty Heaven now.
