After listening to them again, Kirkhope has added interesting things to his version, and they have quite different vibes. One is more "Oh I do like to be beside the seaside." and the other is "Don't go in that water..."
I know next to nothing about gaming music, so Kirkhope / Rare Limited is probably a good place to start, along with Koji Kondo. Would you know of any other good composers in this area? Cheers!
