It all depends on how heavy you wanna pack and how you plan on getting to your camp site though. An air mattress is bulky and heavy, so I wouldn't wanna throw one in a backpack and trek out on foot. The last couple two three times I've gone camping I got there by vehicle. |
I'm not planning to start out backpacking but I'm definitely interested in it, so any gear I pick up I'd rather be good for that.
