When you read about the Bauhaus art movement of the 1920s and 30s,
like a lot of historical events, you hear about the men associated with it -
Kandinsky,
Klee,
Moholy-Nagy, etc. - while rarely hearing about the women.
I came across this photo with the unfortunate title “
Marcel Breuer and His Harem”
and couldn't help but think of the
Bush Tetras. Gotta ask: which looks more "no-wave"?
There's a 55-year difference between these photos.
