I can watch that series (Pacific too) over and over. I don't tire of it. I'm not sure I ever will.
For Band of brothers, Breaking point was my favourite episode. For Pacific, it's when Sledge is getting worn down, jaded by the war. I can't remember the episode's name.
I read two of the books that formed the basis for each series (Helmet for my pillow, Band of brothers). They're both excellent reads.
