Yes, I gave him a month but moved out before he did given the lease had that long to run.
I’d made a death bed promise to his ex and felt I could handle him when he lost the plot. However, his third attack came from behind attempting to strangle me with a dressing gown cord so enough was enough.

I’d already been on a number of AID’s care teams where the client became psychotic due to the virus and that was harder to handle. Somewhat like ICE addicts they could acquire manic strength out of nowhere. We had a policy though of never looking after demented AIDs patients unless their were at least two of us.

I was interviewed at length by a team from Sydney & Newcastle Universities about my care team experiences for a research project. I found doing so traumatic.
