Not one of my favorite bands either - but their music has a time and place (think summer barbecues/cookouts, beer in tow, with a large percentage of 40-60 year old white people).
Their live album though,
If You Want Blood, You've Got It is a kickass album - better than any of their studio albums pretty easily.
And yes, I prefer Bon Scott - but there's not a huge difference between him and Johnson - Scott had a slightly better voice and seemed to have more energy.
