I'd be incredibly surprised if this lasts any more than an additional 6 months. I think they'll either reach a peace agreement (Russia would probably get land) or Russia will turn tail and declare it a victory in domestic propaganda. I don't think Russia has the money to make this last as long as they did with the Soviet-Afghan war back when they were an (admittedly staglating) empire.
