Been reading through most of your journal while I should be working I enjoyed it!

My own interest in female punk bands / riot grrl started in the late 90s with bands like Raincoats, Bratmobile, Free Kitten, Babes in Toyland and particularly The Slits which I felt were just completely their own thing and also very inspirational. It's a long time ago now and I don't really listen much to punk of any kind, so your journal feels a little nostalgic perhaps. Bratmobile's Panik still sounds great and I'm enjoying some of the new groups I've not heard before, like Lung Leg and Finally Punk.

Sleater-Kinney is a band I've tried my ear at several times in the past, but they never quite stuck with me. However, I'm ready to give them another shot

Has anyone ever told you that you seem like a broad-minded and receptive sort of person?
