Pompous Tinkers - Wight Mousse [10/10]
An unexpected departure from musical commonalities. I certainly enjoyed my listen, however.
1. Whirlpool - [10/10] A truly startling introduction to an avant album. Psychedelic instrumentation with bizarre vocal melodies engage the listener.
2. Hickory Witch - [10/10] Flaring indie with bluegrass elements, this song accomplishes a shockingly profound impression.
3. Mama Never Liked You - [10/10] The execution from what appears to be a typical song to the slowed second verse amasses quite the shock.
4. Pitiful Prospector - [8/10] Begins with impending doom and hurling vocals, finalizes with a satisfying guitar solo. The lyrics leave the listener engaged and questioning.
5. Cat And Mouse - [10/10] A rhythmical adventure, this song keeps it unique and revokes simplicity at every integer.
6. Lucid Ballerina - [10/10] An enchanting avenue of thought, this beauty creates a new realm.
7. Perfume Hound - [10/10] A refreshing tale with profound vocals and haunting guitar parts.
8. Red Balloon - [10/10] Simply, a masterpiece. Jazz and alternative conjoin to form a sacrament of authenticity.
9. Jester In The Limelight - [9/10] This song is a short burst of enthusiasm, including obscure guitar parts, and wild shifts.
10. Wonky Limousine - [10/10] An absolute nightmare land in song form. The sound effects and lyrics will leave you woozy.
Overall, a 10/10 album. Much appreciation for this group, excited to hear what the future holds for the Pompous Tinkers.
