Slow-to-medium. I try to savor what I’m reading. If I’m under time pressure at work, then a bit faster.

Hiked up to (but not onto!) the craggy cliffs at Mohonk Preserve.

If the scream is in the street, immediately look out the window – or if it’s in the building, turn off all sound and assess the situation quickly. If it’s at all suspicious, call the police.
