I had to either get a vax initially or I couldn't travel. I waited a long time like I said I would (before deciding what vax I wanted) and then got J&J like I said I would earlier this year.
At some point, people are going to have to accept that we will always be living with some form of this virus, bar some major breakthrough we just aren't aware of yet. You will get reinfected (or initially infected) at some point unless your one of those rare people who are actually immune. It isn't going away and boosters are going to be meaningless considering how quickly it spreads and (apparently) mutates. The best outcome is for it to become so paltry within the next cycle or so that it gives you the sniffles a few days then goes away.
