You can never have too much RAM. And with a Xeon it can access it all. Plus the price was unbelievable so why not? Going from 8 to 32 is going to seem like exchanging a Honda 50 for a jet fighter I feel.
I could put it another way: I may not NEED it but I WANT it because I'm very very greedy.
Look, my system is struggling with tabs open, word processor, Spotify, Paint Shop, torrent client, video conversion client and others. The more RAM I have the happier I'll be, and like I said, the price was a steal. Everybody wins!
