Haha, I don't know why everyone struggles with Tetris, it's a dead simple art.

You got 8(?) rows to fill across the board to get a line. Max points is when you nail 4 lines at once right?

All I do is build up the first 7 rows nicely and then wait for that straight-4 piece. When you get this, turn it vertical and shove it down the last remaining column. And wala, maximum points.

Also, if you play it like that you get more points per speed level. When I got to the 80000 mark I had only just crossed over to level 10, and then it got way too fast for me.
