Nice to see to this album mentioned, Marie; it's one of my favorites of Ellington's latter day recordings. "Portrait of Wellman Braud" is a wonderful tribute to Duke's original bassist with incredible playing by Joe Benjamin that captures Braud's walking/slapping style. Another track, the haunting “Bourbon Street Jingling Jollies”, is one of my favorite compositions and never fails to move me.
