Default Hi everyone!

OMG HI!
For some reason i thought I'd get a notification or something that people responded to this post. I am so sorry if it seems like I've ignored everyone!!! Thanks so much for getting back to me ;D

Lisnaholic ~ I guess my specific Artist(s) Du Jour are Tame Impala, Wallows, Dayglo, Yellow Magic Orchestra and a little bit of Jack Strauber's Micropop and Bo En.

I've discovered all but Tame this year. YMO was referred to me by a co-worker and the others i found via a youtuber named hasoyi.

Tame Impala's "Slow Rush" album that came out earlier this year is a nice modern evolution of psychedelic rock that also seems to flirt with great dance and house notes. The boys in Wallows really threw me for a loop as I thought they sounded more like 30 something year old Brittish hipsters than preppy so-cal kids. Dayglo i can only describe as "capturing the bitter sweet feeling of the summer after highschool". Yellow Magic Orchestra seems to be the grandfather of all video game music and also has that fun disco-cheek to it. Jack Strauber is just an enigma - sp short but SO catchy. Esoteric and superficial all at once. Bo En is very theatrical in a playful and unexpected way. The latter two seem to be what i would think would happen if bjork, weird al yankovic and the Talking Heads had grand children together... where as Wallows seems a little bit more like the Tiny Toon Adventure parallels of Fleetwood Mac, the Monkeys, and the Eagles.

Tristan Geoff ~ the kind of Tech house, if i am using the description correctly, pretty much is best encapsulated by Vitalic, Boys Noize, Simian Mobile Disco, Booka Shade, and GusGus. Other artists or sounds i think are tangential to Tech House that I very much enjoy include Fukkk Offf, Underworld, Miss Kittin, Grum, Porter Robinson, Wulfgang Gartner, Basement JaxxDavid Caretta and Zombie Nation

Neapolitan ~ if i had to try and qualify anyone as tech-pop i'd use people like Madeon, Neon Indian, though i guess that would be a stretch? More along the lines of synth-pop however, i'd say CUT COPY is at the top of my list, with Empire of the Sun right behind. New Order, CSS, Van She, Miami Horror, Trails and Ways, M83.

SoundgardenRocks ~ since DJing really is just a hobby for me, i use Virtual DJ and a numark mix track 3 usb controller.

And actually I am allergic to shellfish!
