Not that it matters, but when I visited Ohio in March (never again), there were Bernie signs absolutely everywhere. There was the expected Trump contingent there still, but I think people underestimate the support Bernie would have if he was the main candidate. If Biden won by a landslide, maybe I could see some validity in him being a vote magnet, but this was way closer than it should have been.
Historically speaking I've got 30 days to eight years of him being in office to be cynical about Biden so even if I'm not particularly "hopeful", I'm going to wait for him to act before side-eyeing him too hard.
