Yep, I'd agree with you about the impact of the Hunter Biden story, jwb.

Spoiler for Hunter Biden Rabbit Hole goes nowhere:
At a quick read, Anteater's Newsweek article seems to consist largely of people denying the implications of the headline. It's clickbait more than journalism, as these two quotes from the article demonstrate:-
Quote:
Shortly after the publication of Strassel's opinion article, the Wall Street Journal's news reporters released an article which stated that Bobulinski's records provide no evidence that Joe Biden ever used his political standing as a former vice president to aid Hunter's business dealings in China.
James Gilliar, one of Hunter Biden's business associates who recruited Bobulinski for the joint Chinese venture, told the publication, "I am unaware of any involvement at any time of the former Vice President. The activity in question never delivered any project revenue."

With the ever-shifting poll numbers and stats, I think these are some important figures that are worth keeping in mind:-
1. The Trump admin's mismangement of CV has caused approx
130,000 unnecessary deaths, that could've been avoided just by following warning signs and precedents from other countries. That's about
forty-three 9/11s. Of course there's a difference between malice and bungling, but motives apart, it's not a good score for Pence et al.
(

2. Malice did play a part in this statistic though: under Trump's watch,
548 children have been turned into orphans by the US government's deliberate policy at the border. That's a lot of crying, traumatised children.
3. If the ACA is struck down by the Supreme Court on Nov 10, which the GOP is clearly intent on,
20 million people could find themselves without health coverage.
