If you don’t want to answer it’s cool but how old are you and do you have any comorbidities?
I’ve obsessively followed the infection rates at the closest jail and the two closest prisons. The jail is corrupt af and they hide behind non-testing but the prisons are surprisingly transparent and have reached around 70% positive. That’s way over 1000 positive cases and among those from what I gather only one otherwise healthy young person has needed to be hospitalized and none have died. From the entire sample of people there’s been under ten deaths from the prisons and the jail has to make public any death and no one from the county lock up has died. I know it’s unnerving but the chance that you’re infected is very high. The chance that you’re going to get acutely ill ranges from low to very low.
And btw, I’m sorry you have to deal with this. I know at best it’s stressful and frightening af. Unfortunately the stress itself adds to the health concerns. If you can, and I’m horrible at this, but if you can try to just take it easy.
Everyone on this forum really likes you. I don’t know what ****ing good that does you but it doesn’t hurt. It’s good to be loved even if it’s a bunch of ******* losers you don’t even know!
Post written with much love.
