I think that's part of why the revolution never came in Western industrialized countries, only repressive backwaters like Russia, China etc. Despite the fact that Marx predicted it starting in countries more like France, Germany and England.

Well duh. Just look at us debating over voting and not voting rather than burning or not burning.
