Really? I think it looks cool. I’d bring out something more comfortable to sit in on that deck though.

Here's a building that did definitely get built: Niteroi Art Museum in Rio de Janeiro:-

Architect Oscar Niemeyer is best known for his part in the design of Brasilia, a city that brought him both fame and criticism, as the planned Utopia turned into something of a dystopia and as public opinion moved against that kind of huge, overbearing city plan. Even so, the place now has Unesco Heritage status and some cool buildings too - but thank god, I don't have to live there.
The image on wiki that shows how it looks in its surrounding makes it a lot more palatable

I found this info on wiki pretty interesting

According to Mercer's city rankings of cost of living for expatriate employees, Brasília ranks 45th among the most expensive cities in the world in 2012, up from the 70th position in 2010, ranking behind São Paulo (12th) and Rio de Janeiro (13th).
I woulda thought Brazil would offer a better bang for your buck.

You can probably still live on the cheap if you got the cajones.
