I love it. I love all the gang. I like the amount of regular posters. I wish chula would return and roxy but most people I don’t miss. I wish key posted more. And Chio of course. I also wish wolf liked me more.

The amount of music information in our search engine in here is phenomenal. For the most part, we’re fans and not critics. I don’t think there’s anything else like it online.

music banter and free jazz collective blog and pitchfork are my top three online resources

but music banter works best in conjunction with Spotify and bandcamp

Recommendations like crazy

Sometimes I think I’m too generous with my recommendations making people less inclined to dig into what I suggest but I try to be clear if it’s more for fans of the genre or outstanding beyond that point.

Music is hard to write about but who cares about that? You discover new music by plugging it into Spotify or hitting the bandcamp link. Long winded rocknroll journalism was much more important before you could listen to anything you want to.
