Yes, I did watch Money Heist, which was quite enjoyable, and will now give Black Mirror a go. Several students have recommended it to me - but then warned me that it was confusing.
In the meantime, I'm watching "The Innocence Files" which is non-fiction about miscarriages of justice. Because they actually want to tell their stories, rather than entertain and show off the director's artistic flair, the episodes are clear, well-lit, chronological accounts, mainly about people getting chewed up by the US justice system.
The story itself is sufficient, so they don't need a lot of stylistic add-ons, and that's where my preference is heading at the moment.
