Portico Quartet has some good hang drum stuff but has some pretty surface level jazz horns that you might find boring and lame.

I don't think that this fits very cleanly into the groovy or chill end of things (unless you find meditative states to be chill), but if you haven't heard Tabla Tarang: Melody on Drums by Pandit Kamalesh Maitri & Trilok Gurtu, I'm pretty sure it'd be up your alley.
This was the album that inspired a conversation that led me to searching for this stuff:

75 Dollar Bill are a good contender, although they are a bit too noisy sometimes.
Portico Quartet actually do feature drums and electronic beats (and are mostly pretty lame overall).
Tabla Tarang is not really what I was looking for, but it's a great album that I haven't known before, so thanks for that!
