No hate on Ewan McGregor but the person to have lost Anakin to the Dark Side should have been the one to make that initial connection with him and who made the decision to train him in the first place. A father/son relationship would also have been more dramatically interesting than an older brother/younger brother one.
That would improve the movie for sure I agree

And the entire new trilogy can **** right off. I've only seen The Force Awakens tbh but it bored the pants off of me, didn't feel at all like Star Wars, and I already have post-Return of the Jedi canon. It's called the Extended Universe and I refuse to accept any JJ Abrams bland ****fest that pretends that Mara Jade or Jacen and Jaina Solo don't exist. Eat ****, Disney.
I thought Force Awakens was OK-ish and The Last Jedi is worth at least one watch just to see the way they handle a few things in ways that are definitely not how most would do it. Overall the new Star Wars trilogy really just grows my appreciation for the MCU. They managed to make a fairly cohesive, consistently exciting set of 23 films where even the lowest points are watchable movies. Modern Star Wars couldn't even do a single cohesive trilogy right, it's so disappointing
