It's rough but is the only non-original trilogy movie that truly feels like a Star Wars movie. It's a fun romp and Qui Gon Jinn is the only truly credible lead in any of that trilogy. He should have been Obi Wan actually. No hate on Ewan McGregor but the person to have lost Anakin to the Dark Side should have been the one to make that initial connection with him and who made the decision to train him in the first place. A father/son relationship would also have been more dramatically interesting than an older brother/younger brother one.
And the entire new trilogy can **** right off. I've only seen The Force Awakens tbh but it bored the pants off of me, didn't feel at all like Star Wars, and I already have post-Return of the Jedi canon. It's called the Extended Universe and I refuse to accept any JJ Abrams bland ****fest that pretends that Mara Jade or Jacen and Jaina Solo don't exist. Eat ****, Disney.
