Finally (although this is not as big an error as the other two) I mentioned in the introduction that we would be going “all the way back to the Vikings”, when in fact the first known, or at least named, explorers would have considered the Vikings not only modern but almost futuristic, and to meet them we have to go back over a thousand years before the birth of Christ!

So, a good start then. Sigh. An apology is due (well, three, but you’ll have to make do with the one) so from everyone here at Planet Trollheart, let me just say
