This is a crucial week for the Brexit imbroglio: Boris J has been trying to do in a couple of weeks something that Theresa May couldn't acheive in a couple of years. Little wonder that his last-ditch effort to exit Europe looks like it will crumble into the kinds of pieces we are now so familiar with.
And while his rallying cry is still, "Deliver what the people want", referring to the original 3-year-old referendum, he hasn't noticed that what people want has changed, at least according to this aggregate of four polls taken during 2019:-
Quote:
Which of the following scenarios do you favour most?
Remain in EU :34%
No Deal Brexit: 23%
Brexit but still in customs union: 14%
a Theresa May Brexit option: 9%
Don't know: 21%

Of course, as with all things Brexit, it's not quite as simple as that: anyone curious about the ins, outs and implications of this latest poll can read about them here:-

EDIT: One reading of the poll results is that 21% of the British people favour Not Knowing - and frankly, who can blame them!!
