It's weird that no matter how many punk or even metal bands you listen to just about no one or even no one can reach that level of pure barbaric immediacy with that level of at-a-moment's-notice-we're-****ing-****-up-and-making-it-look-easy. You'd think one of the ripoffs would have nailed it at some point. And the Ramones did it with the silliest vocalist ever.
