on track nr 8 we hear a track from Jackie-o mother****er.
i would describe them as a combination of folk,jazz and post rock or more generally improv.
i dont know how popular/known they are even in the jazz/experimental field. i hope they're pretty damn popular cause they really deserve it.

i ve heard 4-5 of their records, all in the 2000-2005 era and i think they re pretty solid.
"your cells are in motion " is a slow-burning track, you could probably classify it as post-rock. i really love the way it sounds inside the record (called Fig. 5) and especially how it is followed by another great track the hypnotic "Go down, old Hannah"..

if you wanna hear something from their more jazzy side i d rec "magick fire music"
