In my experience automation is to blame for having to upload a resume while also being required to fill out all the information on the resume into the web application. They let the algorithms spit out the top candidates so the humans only have to look at 3-5 relevant resumes. So you might be fully qualified for the job but if you don't fill out the web form completely or correctly no one ever sees it. It's a faulty system but again, in my experience, hiring managers/teams don't know what the f
uck they're looking for in the first place so we might as well have computers do our hiring for us - at least the algorithms can't be charmed by dips
hits.
