Historically can you provide any evidence that Outrun, Synthwave, and Popwave were household names everyone used in the 80s? I could be wrong but they sound like neologism coined by some internet music hipster doofus. And if that is the case then I refuse to go along that nonsense. "Djent" is an
onomatopoeia, so it makes a lot more sense than those other made-up genre names.
