Sometimes contemporary dance can be quite good.

I've always been kinda partial to Édouard Lock's choreography.
The music is very 80s, but cool.

(I think the guy to your right of the dancers in the 2nd pic is Édouard Lock.)

The choreography is about the excavation of space - designing movement in space to unearth something unique, playful and supernatural. The dance style developed its own anomalous language, exclusively inspired by Kaitlyn’s sound. The image of the dancer is between human and mythical - borrowing from fluid contemporary movement to more graphic, insect-like choreography. The video for ‘Anthropoda’ is a universal story that embodies the curiosity and desire of human nature to transcend our environment. It magnifies texture and form whilst proposing the existence of otherness.

Looks a bit like pro-wrestling at first. I don't see many bruises, so I wonder if there was much rehearsing. More performance art than dance, but it might have been choreographed a bit.

I'm sure there was some deep, intellectual message here (I guess I'm just too dumb to understand it), but all I can think is that I've just wasted another 9 minutes and 7 seconds of my life!
