I saw him at Mutek in Montreal in 2013 and the second show he did there was absolutely mind-bending. My SO at the time dragged me to so many shows during that festival, and this is the only name that seared itself into my memory. He definitely knows how to work with the acoustics in the venues he plays in and mess with the volume to make things dramatic, and this doesn't translate so well into studio recordings.
