it's because your tastes weren't developed yet, as good tastes are developed tastes, the longer you listen to music the more distilled greatness you should get to

if I ever look back at the end of the year and don't think my tastes became more refined or eclectic I'll be disappointed

but more to the point, it's about ranking posters by their value to the community
